Of course, we might not have that much time before the City collapses.

She's not a strong candidate. She beat a very weak incumbent in a low-energy pandemic election and has accomplished nothing except appear more friendly to criminals than their victims. She's extremely beatable.
Can't wait until she accepts the DSA endorsement with open arms! Ward 4's Jewish voters will love that!

Of all the council members and the mayor, I’d have a hard time telling you what any of them stand for besides getting elected. How about you take a look at what Gore was saying in mid-late 2020 before doubling down on the view that she’s the savior the city needs? And how about making it a point to stop being hoodwinked by professional politicians and cast a vote in favor of candidates with substance?

If one of those ran in Ward 4 I'd be thrilled. But what we have instead is two people serving up different flavors of the day - "criminals can do no wrong, in fact laws are mean/racist" vs. "crime is out of control, I will crack down on it!" They might both be vapid, insubstantial professional politicians but that's what we have to choose between.
The issue is that we have seen what one has done/not done. So we have evidence that one has NOT done anything. We don't have evidence for the other. In this case, I'll take the unknown versus the known.
