FYI for reduction of all cause mortality 7500 is probably enlightening, though benefits increase with 10k. The other interesting point is that it should be broken up throughout the day. Being sedentary for 10 hours and then walking 1 hr is not as good as taking 3 20
Minute walks.. so I’m trying to get in a couple hundred steps here and there at work. Take stairs; walk a few blocks to coffee etc…
