Correct. The parent paying child support will not be ordered to pay anything on top of that .
PP you quoted. I definitely know parents who have split custody where one parent gets stuck with paying for all the clothes, when it should be 50/50 or whatever the split is in time. I have no idea how you'd word that in a custody agreement though. I pay 100% (using the child support for some of it), unless their Dad sends them a jersey as their Christmas gift or something, or if something like a uniform is rolled into a sports team's fees, which we split according to our income.
this would be part of the financial settlement. to make it easier, if you’re getting child support, you should just figure clothes into that. I am not asking for child support but will write in that all expenses are split 50-50 which includes clothes. As a practical matter I will likely just buy clothes myself because enforcing the details of making my stbx buy 50% of the underwear would not be worthwhile to me. this was part of my overall thinking in designing the agreement - I want to be able to enforce my stbx paying 50% of big expenses like orthodontics and tutoring, but am not going to sweat a few $100 on clothes.

terrible. the scenario only really makes sense if you truly believe the ex will leave the kids with someone terrible, or will leave them all day & night with a nanny, or if its an infant and you want every second. Much better to design the actual time sharing in the way you want - like specify that each parent can have the kid after school if you WFH, etc.
