GOp is raking up historic firsts!

1. First ex-president judged to be a rapist - GOP for the win
2. First ex-president federally indicted - GOP for the win
3. First ex-president judged to have committed fraud - GOP for the win
4. First speaker of the house vacated by his own party - GOP for the win

Pelosi had the same majority and never came close to anything like this.

Republicans should be forced to carry Kevin McCarthy to term, even if it endangers the life of the party.

Per a fox article, McCarthy had all the microphones removed from the R side, so Gaetz had to stroll over to the D side to participate in the debate.

That is hilarious!

In fact. McCarthy lied about a vote on the floor for impeachment. Dems own zip to this lily-livered MAGA lap dog.

If McCarthy loses, then they go through the whole January rigmarole again? What other Republicans are in contention for speaker?

In a press huddle late yesterday Gaetz mentioned only Scalise by name.

Scalise is worse than McCarthy.

not yet - the vote is on...

6 repubs voted him out, and the democrats previously agreed to vote him out en bloc. So, he's lost already.

What if he has made a deal?

With whom?

The interest of Dems is to vote him out, to flex their power, and THEN, to enter into negotiations to support a moderate R Speaker, in exchange for concessions. But they need to sink McCarthy first, to prove what they're willing to do and why he, or someone else, needs to come to them hat in hand.

Yah, I like that!
