I have a 4B, they definitely auditioned for it this year, but I thought they auditioned for it last year as well? I might be misremembering

Yes, time and efficiency. Some roles have similar asks and so say, during Party Girl auditions they may actually be searching across multiple roles.

some roles also have more complicated choreography with specific skills. But other roles are pretty standard across the level ability
