Yes, the upper class hoarding all the wealth is a common cause of national collapse. We should be worried, and peacefully redistribute the wealth back where it belongs before it comes to violent methods.
There are examples of billionaires who should be giving back a lot more. (Not high incomes, billionaires). Russian oligarchs should have given back the money they stole from the former communist citizens, maybe they’d be more peaceful. The Ukrainian leaders were just as bad. Billionaires in this country pay about 1% in federal taxes so there’s a bit of hoarding there. Don’t worry, the odds of anyone here becoming a billionaire is slim to none.

I’m Gen-Ex too and you’re gross. How is hoarding wealth not trashy? Go away!
I’m a Gen X and am seriously concerned for our young people not being able to live with the same quality of life many of them grew up with. We don’t own three homes - just one that we live in. I wish that for everyone of all ages - if home ownership is something they aspire to.
Also IMO, the student debt crisis is immoral. We should not be burdening young people with life long debts just to be able to get work that pays the bills and contributes to society.
That said, I am not a fan of asking random strangers for handouts. Sustainable living needs to be structural not random and opportunistic.
Likewise, I'm not a fan of people being homeless and hungry. They should eat and get an apartment. So dumb that they don't!
PP was obviously implying that he or she was worried about homelessness and structural inequalities but indulging random venmo or GFM requests is not going to help that …
