I do both, too. Backing into parking spaces makes leaving them SO much safer for pedestrians (i.e., pulling forward is much safer than backing out), so IMO people can wait the extra 30 seconds for someone backing in.

If it its taking you 30 seconds to back in then you have no right backing in. Same geos for only being able to back in while staring at your back up camera.

The people who really need to have multiple emergency contacts because they are single parents/divorcing/just moved here/don’t know anyone…are the same people whose DC becomes violently ill, breaks an arm, has an emergency at school and you only have your cell phone number listed and you haven’t set up your voicemail.

The principal will ride in the ambulance with your DC.

The “very busy, very important working parents” are the same people who knowingly send their sick DC to school and then become irate and rude to the nurse when she insists they pick up their sick kid ASAP.

First excuse; a defensive, haughty, “I’m at work!” Followed by a snide, “just give him ibuprofen and send him BTC.” When I offer that we have no meds for DC, then I’m told to have him rest there but it’s going to be “at least one hour because I’m in DC/Maryland/a meeting.”

The parents who allow their ES age kids to have mohawks/extreme haircuts/wear makeup/get highlights/encourage them to be mini teenagers are the same parents who will host boozy parties at their house beginning in MS/HS.

They will be onsite (not visible) and talk about how everyone stays over/rather they drink in our house/at least they are supervised and revel in the supposed glory of being Cool Parents. They themselves are functional alcoholics.

Nope. It's a Maryland state law that American flags are in every classroom. No one minds. It's fine. It happens in literally every classroom in the state. It's just that some snowflakes can't handle a rainbow anywhere near the stars and stripes.

I think it doesn't make me a jerk to leave a random item in a store, especially one that doesn't need refridgeration. Maybe i should? I feel like the choices are i, the customer, pay with my time to organize a store.
