File Crowded House as not a one-hit wonder. Huge global following and multiple songs that charted.

Taylor needs an “islands in the stream” , “jolene”
Or even a Backstreet Boys “ I want it that way”
There is not one that will survive at this point .
Op, I think you don't understand what a "one hit wonder" is. It is a group that only had one hit and then disappeared. The term shoulr not, and does not, apply to the following:
Simple minds
The Raspberries
Blue oyster cult
Bad finger

I’m pretty neutral about her, neither a fan nor a hater. But it would be a shame if that ends up being the song that sticks for decades. I know she’s more talented than that.

No. Video created OP’s a ha. Taylor is long past video.

She can have songs that are popular for a long time and your yacht rock can be popular to you too. It doesn’t have to be either or.
I don't think it's actually hate. I think people enjoy trolling TS stans because it's so easy. You don't even have to levy real criticisms against her. You can be like, "I like her music but she's never had a song as memorable as Take on Me," and people will get so mad. It's a very attractive situation for a troll!
Again, that behavior is quite bizarre. There are several journalists who tried to make some drama between Taylor and other popular artists either touring in the same town or having concerts this summer, and every single person responded with positivity about Taylor, emphasizing there’s no competition as there’s enough space for everyone in the industry.
