If true, this is a relief and good news.
Appears true.

There are 30,000 Florida students signed up for this class, btw. Offered at 562 different Florida high schools.
OP here. I hadn't read this. Thanks for the followup.
So, FL blinked first. Awesome.
I guess the pressure by schools and students made FL reverse course.
These students are our future. Glad they have more sense than Desantis.
Spoke too soon.
UPDATE ON AP PSYCH: I've just confirmed with
@DuvalSchools
AP Psychology will NOT be offered this school year. This is a reversal from Friday. Students and parents are being informed they'll be moved to other advanced placement psychology courses offed through programs like AICE and IB
So what is the difference between AP and IB and AICE? Are some of them allowed but not AP? Some of them Desantis approves of?

As I expected, they did not blink. They just pushed the problem from AP to the school districts. Nobody is offering AP Psych because the teachers will have to violate the law to teach it: https://www.washingtonpost.com/education/2023/08/09/florida-schools-drop-ap-psychology-class/

maybe more of them will study math or science instead
Psychology is a science, weirdo.
sort of
but not the way chemistry is
Point is, the Florida government shouldn’t be dictating AP course standards.
They are not. They are just choosing not to offer it.

Taking AP Psych does not mean you will be a psychologist. Psychology 101 or similar (Sociology 101) is a very common general education requirement in many colleges. I took it for my finance degree.
What did they teach you about gender, if anything?
