For people who can’t do it, mobility training may be helpful. Lots of videos on Instagram and YouTube.

I can do it without hands but I need to use my knees. I'm trying to picture anyone my age being able to do this and I can't picture it.

Yes, pretty easily, and I'm 52. I am not an athlete, nor do I go to yoga classes, however, I have always been flexible and have pretty good balance. And I'm petite. I think that helps.

DH is 6'+, terrible balance, and he can't do it, but he's in much better physical shape than I am. He exercises a lot more than I do.

I read that being able to squat all the way down is also a good indication of flexibility and strength.

I’m a man and don’t think I could ever do this

I can do this easily. I'm 56 fwiw, normal BMI, not especially fit IMO.

Yes, and I'm an obese size 22. I didn't realize people had issues with this?

Yes, I can. 46 and overweight, active but don’t exercise regularly. Given a choice, I’d use my hands to push up, but I just tried without and could do it. I was really surprised.

Yes. I'm 48. I don't do yoga or pilates or anything but I do lift weights.

No, but I have a bad knee that I have dislocated multiple times throughout my life.

Yes. Easily. 50 and I work on flexibility and mobility daily.

Yes. Lower body strength has never been a problem for me but upper body has. As in, I remember in school I could never do a single pull up but I always got the best score in the vertical jump and standing long jump.

Tried to do this and not even close. I'm mid-40s male and in pretty good shape and not at all overweight. I'm not flexible and really can't even sit cross-legged (i've never been flexible), so i think that's the main problem. I have been thinking that flexibility is important as you get older, and have considered yoga or other flexibility training, but haven't gotten around to it.
