Old fashioned candy sticks - they were hard candy sticks, about six inches long that had various flavors. Root beer, lemon, cherry, cinnamon. I used to love those.

My grandmother used to put out those Sunkist fruit gummies in her candy dish, or the Brach’s pick-a-mix with cinnamon candy, those blue mint things, Starlight mints, and what have you.

She also used to serve After Eight mints after holiday dinners. They were very thin mint chocolates in little sleeves.

A box (or several boxes) of Good & Plenty are my family’s go-to gift for my dad. He loves them. I’ve never seen anyone else eat them, but I guess it is you, your mom, and my dad!

I still love Jordan Almonds and the Russell Stover Vermont fudge roll.
