There is an influencer I follow that hasn’t revealed the name of her 3rd child (Violet Gaynor)

It is so weird

I don’t think they ever release the info. Info usually eventually comes to be known.

They have a great set up and seem to genuinely like each other in addition to working the Hollywood machine so well.

Blake is an ideal trophy wife, with credits of her own. Babies, a foodie, a failed (and stupid) brand, looks great on the red carpet.

Ryan could have been a minor celebrity funny guy, but pumped up to get better roles. He has moved from actor to producer and major business man. Mint mobile, the alcohol gig, the Welsh football team...he brings himself as his best marketing team and has grown incredibly wealthy, when by all rights he should have remained a character actor.

They've made smart decisions, starting with how they managed the public perception of how they actually came together as a couple. Oooh, boy! That was some fantastic choreography, wasn't it?

For those of you with 3 children of one sex, how many times have people expressed sadness for you that you haven't had another child to balance out your family? Why would they want to face that? Either they get, "oh, too bad, another girl" or "finally, you've got your boy!". Who wants to deal with that?

God bless 'em! They'll find a way to present the information when it works best for them, and it'll be done well.

Are you on their publicist team or something? So the solution to their “big” problem of having to face some comments is to never share the gender of your baby? That is such a bizarre take. No, they are obviously doing this for attention.

But they are just drawing more attention to it by hiding it. Ultimately, no one cares that much. It’s something people are curious about in large part due to how public they are and how much they talk about their kids. But by making it a secret it generates more interest.

Which is fine. To the PP point above Ryan Reynolds Has been very smart and savvy about marketing himself. It’s his whole world. Of course he’s going to want to use his family to his monetary advantage. But let’s not pretend it’s more noble than that and that it has anything to do with privacy.

+1 exactly
