I got this doll as a reward for a medical event. I loved this doll.
That made me tear up. I got the peaches and cream Barbie after something myself. I just googled to see her again.
I was just trying to explain to a guy at work that some women have significant memories associated with these dolls and seeing some of the outfits Margot's been wearing is really meaningful.
I've been waiting for Margot to wear the Peaches & Cream Barbie dress, or even better, Crystal Barbie:
Peaches and Cream and Crystal were two of my favorite Barbie dresses ever, up there with Dream Glow and Magic Moves. Loving You Barbie (with the red “velvet” bodice and the red hearts on the white “tulle”) was great.
Dream Date Barbie’s outfit was all drama.
I remember drooling over Peaches and Cream Barbie as a kid. I never had one myself, but my friend's mom collected Barbies (this was in the late 80's) because she thought they would be worth $$$ one day and kept them all boxed in her closet. We would go in there and just stare at Barbie in those boxes and Peaches and Cream was one of them. I loved that dress. Loved Crystal Barbie too.

You all also reminded me that my aunt gave me some Barbie clothes she saved from the 60s. One outfit was a nurse one and while we didn’t have doctor Barbie when I was a kid, she had her MD by the time I was babysitting. That was so cool.
Is the press tour over? Have we seen all the outfits on Margot at this point?
Not a kid movie. It’s PG-13.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:How is this still going on? Must be the longest lead up ever. Agree that it’s fun and cute but personally wish this was a brand that died and never came back.
Agreed. Why is this movie a big deal and inundating social media?! Is this a kids’ movie or for adults? I don’t get it at all.
