I'm the PP who was wondering why 40% is mentioned as a bad number. That makes total sense that a strong student would want to take Calculus in high school, but what I don't understand is how is it bad that 40% of students in Hardy are strong in Math?
Or is it just reflective of an Hardy pyramid area where it is considered that if you can't get accepted to an Ivy you are a dummy?
