She is in the SMCS program so not regular MCPS programming but she loves it, is very happy, thrives, and the teachers love her and write me wonderful letters about how awesome my child is. It is rare to find a happy teen that likes her school.
I like Little Bennett ES for my youngest and as an ES for my eldest. The teachers were fantastic, and the leadership was stellar! The parents had a nice community too. There are now lots of changes so we will see how it perseveres through them.
I did like Rocky Hill MS pre-redistricting. My daughter thrived there and I was very involved. Now, I do not want my child to go there and will likely do private for middle school and hope she gets into a magnet in Poolesville too. If not, I hope we get redistricted to Damascus HS as I do not like Clarksburg HS.
In other words, this PP does not want their children to attend the same school as children from Fox Chapel ES and Daly ES in Germantown.

Because most of the people hating, bashing MCPS schools don't have kids in MCPS.
Keep telling yourself that. I’ve had plenty of in person conversations with parents of MCPS kids who are very concerned about the quality of their kids’ educations.

Nah, sorry. You’re the one who lives in delusion.
Like I said, in your imaginary world.

There has been some admin turnover that made the end of last year uncharacteristically uneven, but we have had only good to great teachers and staff. I have a good feeling from the incoming principal and the teachers seem to like her, so I think things will return to the usually-awesome normal.

Started by a private school parent and filled with 90% of non-MCPS parents.
Keep telling yourself that.
Don't need to. They revealed themselves.
You're one of them.
