PS we found the most seating behind the section with the body slides and the huge bucket. You’d have the “back” of the body slides area in front of you and the cabanas behind you. There’s never any seating at the wave pool and it gets cold there too because it’s by the entrance, there is also never any seating by the toddler area because 1) that’s where people first look when they come in and 2) people who have toddlers who are going to spend most of their time on those slides look to sit there first. If you have a big group, maybe 2+ large families and you’re going on a busy day, a cabana may be worth it if you really want the guaranteed space but they are pricey.

Been there twice. It’s extremely diverse and the crowds and employees are quite representative of the area in general. There is no possible way that anyone could go and feel like “the only Black/Asian/Indian/whatever” family. I won’t discount any individual racism experienced however and, of course, some of the kids are out of control and some of the adults have had too much to drink. There’s at least one bar in the water park and you can also drink at the restaurant bar.

The kids love it. We found the sit down restaurant and the pizza to be decent for what it is, which is theme park food, but the burger/chicken tenders place inside the water park is just a small step above school cafeteria food. The rooms are nice but the walls are very thin and you’ll hear everything if your neighbors are at all loud. They are charging some ridiculous fees to make up for the fact that the rooms are often pretty cheap - there’s a large nightly “resort fee” and a “parking fee” that has to be paid every 24 hours, which is super obnoxious if you show up at say 10 am, use the water park, check into your room at 3, and use the water park most of the day the next day which you can definitely do. It’s really in the middle of nowhere so it’s difficult to leave but I think they are trying to develop the area more.

The water park is the main draw. The arcade is hugely overpriced, much worse than Dave and Busters or even the arcades at most theme parks. Bowling is small, mini golf is small and not great, MagicQuest has huge lines at some of the stations and is $$$. However there are different free activities in the lobby like the character meets, a dance party (bring your own bubble machines and glow sticks!), yoga, story times, etc. and these are very fun and also free.

Williamsburg has a ropes course too. It's outside and better. And less crowded.

I am not white and I didn't see any issues there. We have been to the Williamsburg one a few times but tried Perryville recently. It was a little more compact than Williamsburg but had a ropes course, which my kid enjoyed. Great experience overall and it was way cheaper than Williamsburg.

You being non white and thinking it “silly” doesn’t make it less of a concern for PP. You could have just shared that it was not a concern for you as a nonwhite person. No need to belittle other people’s concerns.

I don’t know why it so hard for people to share their realities without putting other peoples concerns down just because it doesn’t match with their realities.

I’m trying to figure this comment out. There is very little carpeting. Only the halls that I can think of which I wouldn’t let my kids walk in barefoot anyways.
We liked it quite a bit and thought it was well done. The only thing that annoyed me was the water park was super busy one day we were there. It was hard to get tubes for some of the rides.

I'm not squeamish and have no issues with public pools and waterparks but NO WAY would I get in a waterpark hot tub.

Just got back. We went July 2 and 3. I have no idea what you all were talking about. White power skinheads? None that I saw. This was easily the most diverse place I’ve been all year. Over half AA, probably 15% Asian and the rest white/hispanic. Lines were very short for everything. I didn’t wait more than 5 minutes for any rides. Everything was very clean and I was happy with my hotel room with the cute bunk beds for kids (I loooove that layout- why don’t more hotels have this).

My only complaint was that the lazy river needed 2x the amount of floats that it had. And that kids shouldn’t be allowed in the hot tub. Kids hogged the hot tub entirely and were wrestling and swimming in the hot tub.

I’d never been but had a great trip. Most of all- my kids were happy. It’s not trashy like our local amusement parks or even Hershey.
