That’s a no from me. I loved both, but I don’t think anyone who didn’t like the first season would like the second. The first was more conventional and the second season has much more risk taking, experimenting with tempo, pacing - you have to know and love the characters to enjoy it. At least I think.

It’s not enjoyable. If you can’t get through season 1, that particular episode will be impossible.

Also, I have some trouble believing in Claire as Carmie’s girlfriend. She’s more like his therapist. She doesn’t rally have any problems of her own. She’s the only one of the characters that’s not fully developed. She’s hot but too hot for him. Also, she’s an ER doc but has time to drive to Wisconsin to mail a letter, impromptu? Nope.
