I’m not that poster but since people keep asking why… I felt way more sick from the second shot and subsequent booster than I did with Covid. But am open to it if I start to hear that otherwise healthy people are getting terribly sick. It’s really not political for me, it’s a matter of how my body responds to the shot vs the sickness.

You do realize that it’s the fact that the vaccine conferred antibodies that made your bout with actual Covid so much milder, right?

I have never had covid at all, despite living with zero restrictions for 2+ years. My last shot was in December of 2021. I'm healthy, active, and have no comorbidities. But for all my covid shots (2 Pfizer original, 1 Moderna booster) I've been awful sick for 1-2 days.

So tell me. Why should I get the booster? What's the point?

Not interested. There are literally hundreds of threads here dating back 2 years or longer. You can search yourself. Frankly, what do i care if you get it or not. If you die or not. Your life, not mine.

I'm an elementary teacher - I work with filthy germy children allll day. I've been going to the gym as soon as they re-opened, in June 2020 - without a mask. I've traveled internationally, maskless on the plane. Gone out to eat, in stores, socialized, etc. I haven't had covid once.
