If your neighbor says she doesn't have it, you really ought to believe her. It's not nice to accuse someone of something unless you have proof. You have proof the package was dropped on her front porch. That's it!
Please read the thread before commenting. The OP's camera caught the neighbor retrieving the package and bringing it inside.

Moron, call the police? for WHAT??
FOUND THE THIEF!!!
"When the package never arrived I looked into the tracking and the picture it has with it matches the house across the street. In addition, we have on our ring camera a package being delivered at the same time as the time stamp on the delivery photo."
That's enough right there for the police report.

Anonymous wrote:$375 is not worth fighting with a neighbor over. Either sort it out with the company as mis-delivered or order it again.
Anonymous wrote:People around here at weird. I have a feeling they open the package, discover It's not theirs, and then panic that they have "stolen" something. So their only choice is to deny having made a mistake because they don't make mistakes.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Yeah, I don’t think it’s “theft” if a package is delivered to your own house, people.
Yes it is. It's also illegal to open someone else's mail.

Friday, I knocked on the neighbor’s door and asked if I could grab it and thanked her for bringing it in. She denied having it and said she never brought it in. I told her we had it on camera and she just stood there with no emotion and said she had no idea what I’m talking about.
First, where do I go from here? I’m not sure what a middle aged woman will do with a several motors and controllers for RC aircraft, so it’s not like it’s something she can wear/ use/ re-sell without knowing the niche market.
Total value is about $375.
