+2. OP, it has nothing to do with you and your kids being "foodies" and all that.

It has to do with the fact that certain restaurants cater to adults out for a special occasion or business and they don't necessarily want to see a child, even your "well-behaved foodie" child there.

I can’t tell if this is a troll or not. What person who has actually had kids would be confused by this? Even if you had the kind of kids who were easy in restaurants as babies/toddlers, surely you have encountered kids who aren’t so adaptable, or encountered places that were hostile to kids even when they were very well behaved? Or, for that matter, have gone out to restaurants without kids where you’ve felt annoyed that other parents brought their kids because the noise level or behavior felt disruptive in that setting?

Probably OP just wanted to humblebrag about taking her kids out to nice restaurants a lot when they were little and how well behaved they were. If OP is actually confused about the idea that some restaurants are family-friendly and some aren’t, she’s either very dumb or very oblivious.
