But she didn't, and has never really come out and said "that was messed up" and I hold it against her.


Should also note that she's spent much of her career making fun of other celebs, including fellow Disney alums, and stirring up conflict where there need not be any. She's antagonize Demi Lovato, Nikki Minaj, Jay-Z, Katy Perry... a bunch of others. I think some of the worst stuff is that she's made fun of celebrities who have had public issues with substance abuse, including Demi and Jody Sweetin (from Full House). Given her own history with substance issues, it just demonstrates how much she lacks self-awareness and self-control. She's rude, and seems to like it that way. She keeps saying she's "grown up" but isn't she in her 30s now? How long is that supposed to take?

She could do. limited residencies somewhere - Vegas is obvious, but she's also influential enough that she could be a disrupter in some new ways. Setting up something in Nashville or wherever she lives, or really leaning into the Dolly connection and doing shows at Dollywood or Pigeon Forge or wherever. Or wherever she is. If she doesn't need touring to fulfill her, then she doesn't need to do it.

Miley was famous before having the capacity to know what it meant or the impact. Adults were among those decisions.

I’d guess Miley said “I would love to sing/perform” at a young age and the due was cast. A huge percentage of kids if asked do you want to be famous in would say “yes,Boyd be great to be a famous…singer, dancer, artist, writer, athlete, etc). Most just don’t have the connections to do so.

Perhaps she’s contemplating it on her own terms as an adult versus a young person.

I wish her well.
