I love the looks of Vans but I really don't understand how people do a lot of walking in them! I've found Cariumas - which I guess had a hot moment of being trendy - are MUCH more comfortable for lots of walking. They are light as air, and the insole is so supportive.



The Cariuma bamboo knit ones are the best for wider feet. I have the cream one and wish they carried white in the knit. I can’t do the same mileage as with my Hokas , but they are good for longer walks and they look decent.

Second this. Just got back from 5 days of Disney wearing the sketcher sandals I bought 5 years ago, that have been through numerous vacations, including walking a cruise. Still as comfortable and no issues with blisters or swollen feet or ankles (in my late 60’s).

you can definitely wear superstars with a dress but last couple years it was gross hot so I'd look for sandals and get a cool pedicure (not Ballet pink) Its London- they are edgy fashionable- not chic & Wes Anderson like the French .
