Op; I saw the notification pop up on his Lock Screen. Her full name and profile pic was there. I asked him later what she sent and that’s when he gradually admitted it was a selfie (after much prodding).

Oh dear. He didn't show you the picture right then and there? Sorry but he's cheating on you. This is all kind of red flags. You know in your heart ladies don't text selfies to married men who "don't text back." Yeah ok!

Exactly. You get no response? You're not going back in for another round of rejection. He's texted her back.

Once rejected twice shy lol. He is in fact, texting her back!

I asked him about since I saw it pop up on his phone, and he said it was someone he dated right before we got together, and she occasionally reaches out via text and he never responds. He said she's "crazy". I looked her up on Instagram and it looks like she's a local single mom around our age and often posting pics of her posing in various outfits.

How would you handle? Would you let it go? I don't have his phone password, for what it's worth.

Why don't you have his password? That's strange.

? DP. My partner and I are adults and trust each other. No passwords wanted or needed.

My husband and I trust each other and we don't have passwords on our phones.

That's great. Do you roll your eyes at each other often too?

You don't have passwords on your phones? For reals?

"For reals."

Isn't that a big security risk? Anybody can just pick up your phone and look through it?

No. I use my phone for phone calls and texts messages only. I don't do anything else on it. I don't log onto email, my bank, none of that from my phone.

Glad my DW is not as controlling. She knows I have female friends (usually from before we met), and is fine that I text with them now and then. Heck, one of them is even godmother to our DS!

Do they send you unsolicited bathroom selfies that you try to hide from your wife?

+1 these men need to read the actual OP not just the title of the thread.

I stated repeatedly, female friends texting "hey how are you", no problem. DH has several female friends who do that.

They *never* text a selfie of themselves dressed up. If they did, DH would immediately tell me and block them.

I've received those, usually with 2-3 other people (often mutual friends) when they're out somewhere. So, it's OK if the person is dressed up and with other people, but not OK if they are dressed up but alone?

She's sending it while in her bathroom. She's not at some tourist site, out with friends.. she's in the bathroom.. alone.

Really? Are you *that* dim?

There’s a huge difference between being friends with women and having past hookups send you suggestive photos. I’m a woman and have lots of guy friends but I would NEVER send a going out photo to them!
