Unfortunately women like to make things more complicated than they need to be and come up with made up work. My guess is it’s a result of being a female-dominated industry.

Before I did this, I worked in admin at various organizations, and there was ALWAYS down time. In a 40 hour work week, I probably worked 4-5 hours a day, tops, but it was spread out over the 8-9 hours I was in my office.
In my current career, there is no down time while I am actively "working" with clients. I have 2-3 cancellations per week for whatever reasons, so occasionally I get an unexpected break, but there is very little time to goof off at work the way I used to in my nonprofit days. Probably a good thing, ultimately.
How much do you make? I'm in school for an MSW planning to go into private practice or maybe a small group practice.

I have great work life balance and able to schlep my kids to all their activities.
But I also do a lot of laundry, gardening and cooking. So, I’m working 40-50 hours.

This includes me backing out time for daily walks (which I do at the office and when I WFH) and includes me backing out lunch. I flip my laptop on at 830 and turn it off at 5. Sometimes I work more sometimes less. Last year I think I made around 298k.
What do you do? Sounds amazing!
