Also off to not good start with parents regarding the Encore teacher fiasco.
This sorority… figurative or literal?
Literally. Per The Atlantic “Yet the reality is that black sororities are—and have been—hard at work on a political agenda that seeks to improve the American experience of blacks and women across the country. And unlike most other sororities, membership in a black sorority is not simply a college phase, but a lifelong commitment. Alumnae comprise 75 percent of the active membership of these groups. Black sororities do not confine their concerns to college campuses.”

what happened with the Encore teachers? Haven't heard anything which considering it's ACPS seems to make sense.

Why am I not surprised? Open ACPS and her private school parent supporters sure know how to pick 'em!
Absolutely.
I think Baird and Booz’s focus on changing the Board’s terms / numbers / election years is also indicative of them generally being beholden to (and viewing themselves as an arm of) of ACPS rather than as elected officials providing oversight (on behalf of the voters).
