Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy have known each other, worked together and been friends for decades before "Schitt's Creek" came along, and his kids (Dan and Sarah) grew up knowing O'Hara well, so a family dynamic on the show was pretty easy and believable. I get the impression that the other cast members fit well into the Levy-O'Hara "family" too. Seems like it was and is a fun group without a lot of messy egos.

Matt Damon and his family are very good friends with Chris Hemsworth's family (or maybe it's the other brother - I don't know the difference between them to be honest) - they all vacation in Australia together.

She was recently on Colbert's show and she talked about how she was completely, happily distracted recently when Garber turned up somewhere she was working. Sounds like she was thrilled to see him. Sweet.



She has a nice family, and seems to enjoy her parents but Victor Garber seems like her "Hollywood dad." A rock for her when she broke out during Alias.


He officiated her wedding to Ben Affleck.
