Don’t the wives end up sleeping with the Au Pairs? It seems many of the posts in the relationship forum are women crushing on another woman.

I’ve hosted au pairs over a decade and only one au pair, our most recent one, had obvious crush on DH and she seemed like mentally unstable. we rematched (for other stated reasons). I will prob not get another super hot one ……
I do have a friend whose au pair had a relationship with ex- husband which is also disturbing.
It does happen, but not majority of time. I bet there are way more creepy dads

All depends on how hot the au pair is relative to the wife. if one is smoking and one a pig, what do you expect to happen? and if they are about the same, the "grass is greener" and forbidden fruit dynamics come into play.

“Pulling the goalie” doesn’t mean financial security when the dad can have her deported. Good luck proving paternity from home country, and good luck re-matching and staying in the U.S. if the dad says you’re unsafe with kids/on drugs. Dads in the au pair program are extremely creepy and the power dynamic is a catastrophe.

Of course it’s common, especially if mom travels on business. DH thinks she’s having her own affairs. And AP simply wants to keep her job, so she submits to his pressure. Some of you are naive.

Never heard of an actual affair, but have had plenty of au pairs rematch for creepy dads....plenty.
