I got a letter but it had no more info than what was in SIS.

Never mind - it did have percentile.

Three years ago, my DD got a 129 NNAT, 130 CogAT, and 2C 2F GBRS. She didn’t get in to AAP. (We are in a high SES school.)

My son just got a 140 on the NNAT and his teacher, who was also my daughter’s teacher, has already said he would be a great fit for LIV.

I worry that the 140 isn’t high enough. He is noticeably brighter than his sister, so it seemed low to me.

I was very worried about his NNAT score, it wound up not mattering at all.

Similar story here. DC had a 119 NNAT and we were concerned, but scored 141 on the COGAT and was admitted first round. No clue what the GBRS looked like.

Has anyone gotten a letter with the percentile ranks yet?

That’s a good score, but the COGAT and GBRS feedback seems to count for more in the Level IV determination.

My child was accepted into Level IV on the first try with a lower NNAT score (110). I think my child just needed another year of maturation to be able to focus on testing because their COGAT score was much higher in second grade. They are doing well in their AAP center.

It is a good score. It would be below the old county wide in-pool cut off of 132 but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a good score. I want to say a 130 is in the 98th percentile so only in the uber crazy world of AAP parents would someone be disappointed in a score that lands their kid in the 98th percentile.
