She tried to tell a few TC teachers that the kids would respect her more than them for the same reason.

No doubt. I remember when she made excuses for one of her buddies- also an AP at TC- who’d been overheard using a racial slur towards a black student - claims that she couldn’t possibly be racist because she adopted a Latino child and everyone must have been mistaken about the word they heard.
