The age difference is a life experience for her to figure out. Do not get involved. Your daughter is an adult.

In the past, this problem was avoided by allowing young men to marry minors. But that its own concerns.

When women date older men, younger men become incels.

DH and I have a similar age gap and met my junior year of college. This year we’ll celebrate our 22nd anniversary

If they met at the same school? Not weird, it's fine.
By the time girls are juniors and seniors they are usually more mature than college guys of the same age.

Great match. I had several friends who dated and it wasn’t a big deal. One got married around age 25/26 and still happily married w kids (and is a wealthy lady of leisure at 35).

I dated men twice my age when i was in college. Ironically, I ended up marrying my husband who is 9 years younger.

+1 OP, this scenario is really not a cause for concern.

One of my classmates met an mba student her junior year. We went to an Ivy. They got married maybe five years later? Now they are an incredibly power couple with the trappings of a fantasy life both successful in career and personal with adorable kids. One of those people you look on social media and say man how can someone be so perfect. So no I don’t think a junior dating a grad student is weird, sure turned out great for my classmate. They could be now considered global elite, not only elite in the US.

They're both in school and probably will finish around the same time. I think men tend to be slower to mature than women so they are not as far apart as it would be if the ages were reversed. If they like each other and are kind to each other it seems ok. I dated a 26 year old grad student when I was a 21 year old college senior, and a 27 year old medical resident when I was 22 and a first year law student. While neither relationship worked out, age wasn't the major reason and I wouldn't say I had a bad experience. I'm now married so someone 4 years older than me.
