Doofus, people on welfare are, by definition, always struggling.

Not the lady this morning at Harris teeter. Two shopping cart full and she spent $450 plus non food items $87

And you know she was on welfare how exactly?

She was loud and clear how she was paying.

I like Wegmans but do not find their prices are a better deal, can you share what you buy that is a better deal?

A small bag of spinach is $4. Yes prices are much higher. Those are groceries. Yes you can by cheaper groceries somewhere but that’s Giant.

Went to Aldi today. Got 1 lb. butter for $2.50, dozen organic eggs for $3.59, 1 lb. pistachios for $4.99, 2 avocados for 49 cents each, 5 lb. bag of gold potatoes for $3.99, 3 lb. bag sweet potatoes for $2.49, 1 pt. strawberries for $1.59, and an 8 oz. container of hummus for $2.49. All of that for $23.

I also stopped at Trader Joes recently and got 4 cans of organic black beans for $1.19 each.

Are we really just going to post our shopping lists and prices on this thread?
