Several of my son’s teammates have played on Little Legends teams and had very good experiences…

Legends basketball is rec level. Fine if that's what you want but not travel level.
Generally agree but the 5th grade boys division this year includes Nova94’s B team and Stars A team
Normally AAU teams don’t play legends. If they do, they are probably playing up Against older kids unless maybe the talent level is just low.
Yes, some low level AAU teams play in Little legends. We have seen Stars, Cavs, Nova 94 teams. Not usually the top level teams, but perhaps a B level team. Most teams in Legends are rec plus. Some county travel team kids who played Arlington/McLean select. Also some rec kids who want to keep playing in the spring but don’t want AAU. My kid who plays on a Little Legends team plays for a shoe-circuit team plays for fun with his friends. He prioritizes his AAU team.
Also Mclean Select is basically the Nova 94 14u orange team. They do not play in Legends but played in Stars summer league. No top tier AAU team will play in legends as comp level is too easy.

Do they have different divisions? Or are they just jumbled up with random teams of rec kids? That doesn't seem very fun.
Great question and I may ask as we are on a team that will likely get slaughtered by Stars A team. Stupid and not the point of this league.

Where do you live? FPYC, Great Falls (I think), SYA, Vienna, Falls Church City, Lee District, Turnpike, Mclean all for sure should have summer team tryouts. They don't have to worry about zip codes in the summer.
Falls Church doesn’t even have a regular season girls select team. They certainly don’t have a summer one. Nor does Mclean.
Mclean and falls church didnt have girls teams in the fcybl? Wow.
The Annandale team includes the Falls Church zips

I'm not familiar with their Summer league, but when everything was closing up in the beginning of covid, she was harassing people hard core for their spring AAU team fees.....giving us sob stories about coaches needing to support their families...knowing she was totally going to cancel the season and she did not give refunds.

For the summer? McLean does not field Select teams in the summer. What an odd comment.
McLean had summer teams in the Stars summer league last year. So, they do. How odd that you are so smugly wrong.
Mclean had kids play with their AAU team. Not quite the same thing. How odd that you’re still insisting on this.
