I’m guessing it will be treasured for the genius work that it is.

People still like Mozart for his music that was composed in a 1780s kind of way.

Yes that art that takes liberties from literal truth is just plain wrong. Art that takes itself too seriously is a big yawn. Art that creates new genres is weird. Art that requires us to fill in any blanks/ historical references for ourselves is lazy.

It reminds me of why Salvador Dali’s famous painting The Persistence of Memory annoys me so much. Our memories aren’t clocks. Clocks don’t melt on beaches. Allegory is mumbo jumbo. Surrealism sucks. Magic realism is even worse. The world should be full of accurate landscapes that look more like photos than paintings.

First, I realize it's a typo, but it's ironic that people complaining about something being incorrect keep typing "and accurate" instead of inaccurate.

Second, you don't have to love Hamilton, but lumping it with the absolute crazy conspiracy theory drivel that was JFK is absurd, and INACCURATE.

Well, because of this musical, my sixth grader knows all about the Federalist papers and can accurately describe the compromise of 1890, so I’m calling it a win.

The high-level description of the French revolution was also pretty great.

You don’t have to like everything, but just because you don’t like it doesn’t make the thing a bad thing.
