1) being forced to ‘bow’ to people I don’t even know because they are of a different race. Last I checked, that was a very bad thing. no one is asking you tom bow to anyone
2) the constant demonization of any opinion that does not agree with what liberals deem the ‘opinion du jour’ the demonization is at the hands of people who show utter disrespect for women, people of color and people who aren't straight; if you are not demonizing those people, then you have nothing to worry about. Not belittleing is not the same as bowing
3) the complete lack of open-mindedness that is now the left, especially when it comes to helping others. Even that has to be done ‘properly’ and ‘within the narrative’. again, the open-mindedness you want the left to respect is associated with a hegomony of white christian nationalism and racist xenophobia...sorry, not all of us are white christians.
4) the hyper-exaggeration and emotional meltdowns on the left have you seen the right recently? I mean DiSantis is making journalists register and Gaetz wants to expel democrats from his committee, and what about all the Trump meltdowns. Please
5) the left’s tendency to censor everything into oblivion really? Who is banning books, roughing up journalists (Ohio/Florida) and making journalists kowtow to leadership. HOw many jounralists did Trump ban from the White house? Compare that to how many Biden has expelled (zero)
6) the complete lack of understanding of the constitution and why it makes this nation so unique you mean all men are created equal and as such should have equal right, yet somehow, the right is able ti subjugate women and minorities and wrap themselves in the Constitution to do it?
7) the hyperventilating about Europe and how much more sophisticated they are then Americans. Who even cares about such nonsense, unless you are focused solely on the superficial? I think the point is, humans are all in this together and if one country is poisoning the earth, then we all suffer. Europeans are taking steps to mitigate climate change, and depend on the US and China to do the same. That means our energy policy has to reflect this, and yet the GOP have adopted anti-climate science as a platform...and we are already beginning to see the impacts in our weather patters. It is not sustainable for human life.
8) constantly feeling empathy for who they consider the underdog, to the point of jeopardizing the health and safety of others - until it hits THEIR doorstep and then it’s a HUGE deal that needs to be addressed. because letting the straight white males rule the roost has worked out so well for our country?
I could go on, but there’s 8 reasons

Let's take these one be one. Can you please provide an example of when you have been forced to "bow' to someone because they are a different race?
People eating at Cafes were accosted by members of BLM and made to raise a fist, under threat of physical violence.
People being forced to take a knee in solidarity

1) being forced to ‘bow’ to people I don’t even know because they are of a different race. Last I checked, that was a very bad thing. Bow? Where do I find this requirement? I've never seen it. Maybe you're just a whiner with a victim complex.
2) the constant demonization of any opinion that does not agree with what liberals deem the ‘opinion du jour’ You're right. Maybe they should just disrupt lawful elections they disagree with the results about.
3) the complete lack of open-mindedness that is now the left, especially when it comes to helping others. Even that has to be done ‘properly’ and ‘within the narrative’. Example for this word salad?
4) the hyper-exaggeration and emotional meltdowns on the left See Trump's former tweets. The end.
5) the left’s tendency to censor everything into oblivion Books, reproductive decisions, Starbucks cups, Nike, Colin Kaepernik . . . all GOP canceling. Shall I go on?
6) the complete lack of understanding of the constitution and why it makes this nation so unique This is just blathering. And says more about you that you believe it, none of it good."

8) constantly feeling empathy for who they consider the underdog, to the point of jeopardizing the health and safety of others - until it hits THEIR doorstep and then it’s a HUGE deal that needs to be addressed. Are you religious? I hope you're not Christian b/c "feeling empathy" for others is kind of one of the fundamentals.[b]

Cruz is being rational in his situation. I keep saying this, but Republicans have nothing to run for, they can only run against. They have to have enemies, they have to believe they are the victims. If Cruz wants to get reelected, he has to make sure his constituents are afraid of their own shadows. You might think that in the middle of the Texas desert you might be safe, but you never know when an airliner flown by a transgender pilot might crash into you.
Hey, you democrats are all about science.
Let's talk about pilots or air traffic controllers of anyone else that has many lives depending on them...
What is the suicide rate of transgenders vs. those that aren't?
Interesting argument. You make a group of people's lives so miserable that they commit suicide in large numbers and then you justify making them even more miserable because they commit suicide in large numbers. This Republican science!
Or maybe it's a mental issue and having a large number of people's lives dependent on that is bad judgement. They might also be the source of their own misery.
Yet you blame someone else. If a transgender has regrets after their operations and they often do, why is that someone else's fault?
Why should they be in a position of high trust?
If a black has regrets?
If a poor has regrets?
If a depressed has regrets?
See how you sound?

I'm honestly starting to wonder if conservatism is a form of mental illness.
Republicans have been unhinged and mean-spirited for a depressingly long time. It's just out in the open now. For instance, if I mention the time that Rush Limbaugh called 13 year old Chelsea Clinton the White House dog you can almost set your watch to when someone will come in and point out, "Limbaugh actually never said that," without acknowledging that he held up a picture of 13 year old Chelsea Clinton after he stated that he heard there was a new White House dog.
They've all been terrible people for a really long time.
PS - Ted Cruz isn't mentally ill. He is intelligent and highly educated. That should make it worse.
