I’m safe in my Honda no matter what “elite” institution is advertised on the back of my car.
Police always recommend not advertising personal information about your family on your car, particularly where they go to school. I guess you underestimate criminals.

That article provides the counterpoint as well - that it’s actually not a big deal. If I am a criminal and want to learn about your family, I can learn a whole lot more a whole lot faster on the internet than I can looking at your magnets.
Why not avoid both? Don't post about your kids on social media and don't advertise their school on your car. Shocker: you can maintain your privacy in many venues!
Anonymous wrote:No. I never have. When I see them on other cars, I judge them. Assume they are bragging or just tone deaf.
Anonymous wrote:Nope. For security reasons. I also do not mention their schools on social media until they no longer attend it. I don’t wear labels most of the time either unless I can’t avoid it.

I initially thought her interest was genuine, but as it turns out, she only wanted access to the other school community and was using us to get it. After our kids had a few playdates, she started inquiring about sporting/holiday/service events at our other child's school, and asking if she could attend some of them with us. After a while, she started asking probing questions about some of the families at the other school and thats when I realized she had ulterior motives and I stopped socializing with her.

Anonymous wrote:No sticker/magnet - I have no interest in advertising my choices for children's school to the world. But I also don't put other magnets/stickers on my car.

Your point?
It looks ridiculous
Maybe they are very proud? Maybe they get FA?
