We love Christ Episcopal School in Rockville and tuition is $22k.

I noticed New School and Howard Gardner high schools are now over $35,000. Not by much, but it’s tough to find a private independent below that amount. Except for the parochial high schools.

People have a right to set their own affordability threshold. There is a 10k difference between 35 and 45K. Not to mention folks need to account for continued increases. What the OP needs to provide is what they are looking for in terms of education.

I was going to say this too. Super nurturing little school. My son thrives there for a few years until he was able to handle public school.

They go PK-6 (though 5/6 is usually combined because there aren’t many of either)

The lack of perception here is mind boggling. You may want to send your kids to a top school but the difference between high and and mid to lower end tuitions for multiple kids is 1.x million dollars.

It's all just so bizarre. It is like you are saying that you would only get your child a dog from the closest shelter to you OR a Tibetan Mastiff because they are the most expensive dog and therefore the only one worth buying. All with zero research into what your child wants/needs or what other pet options are out there.
