This is not true. And if it is explain how so many children who have come from nothing (e.g., drug addicted parents, poverty etc.) manage to escape and succeed. I agree. Parents of 6 in my very high-income neighborhood, all successful kids horrible parents. Mom high functioning drug addict only liked her babies, the house was filthy to the point you would want to vomit upon entering, the dad was a narcissist creeper, and yet all kids who graduated from Ivy League schools have jobs are fabulous people. When our children were younger I was naive and judgemental these kids will never amount to anything blah blah blah, I happily eat my words.
