Sure you do. I bet you don't even live in DC or anywhere near it. You sound like you're too chickenshit.

You realize CCW permits are a thing in DC right? Many of us carry. Also, genuinely curious — why are your parties all up in a bunch?

You just want to shoot and kill black youth

Is this satire?

Panties in a bunch? No hon, that'd be you, since you're the one who's so worked up that you have a gun stuffed in your panties.

And again, you aren't cut out for city life. I doubt you live in the city. You're probably one of those people who at best maybe only barrels in and out of the burbs for your commute and pretends to be tough with a "Don't Tread On Me" VA plate. I see your kind all the time.

Take a break from being angry anonymously on the internet — your poor mental health is out there in the open.

Angry? I'm actually pretty chill. You on the other hand are the one who feels the need to have a weapon of mass violence at your fingertips at all times. I suggest you check your own mental health.

Yes, because starting arguments on an anonymous online forum is the hallmark of someone who is “actually pretty chill” 🙄.

Enjoy it while you can, gunhumper. Because they’ll be banned soon enough. And since you so conveniently registered yours, we’ll know who’s door to knock on first when it’s time for you to turn them in.

Sigh, I wish but I think gun supporters are just going to continue to chip away at any restrictions DC might try to enact. The Supreme Court is on their side.

+1. It will never happen with the way the country currently is, and this “we’re coming to your house to take your guns” talk when there is zero legal pathway forward just comes across as a little bit unhinged, or at least unhealthy.

So let me get this straight… you’re worried about the optics of cracking down on guns because gun nutters might think we’re unhinged? We’re not the ones with a g******* arsenal of murder tools! But you’re worried about being perceived as unhinged/unhealthy?

Is this supposed to be satire ?

NP, you come across as unhinged because in the current environment and with the makeup of the Supreme Court, “coming to your house to take your guns” is not something that is going to happen. No one’s worried about the optics of it, it’s that it is not in reality going to happen.

1) the current make up of the USSC can be changed today. All it requires is for President Biden to simply appoint 4 or more additional justices. That eliminates the rightwing control of the court. Then a gun case can be fast-tracked before the court, and we can get pretty much anything we want out of that.

2) the only thing stopping this, perversely, is Joe Biden himself.

I’m at a loss to explain point #2.

1) That’s cute.

2) See #1.

Again with the unhinged, Court packing is not going to happen either.

Please refrain from using the vernacular of fascists. When you use terms like that you are tacitly acknowledging and agreeing with them.

There is no constitutionally specified number of justices on the Court. It has changed in the past, and it should therefore be able to change in the future. Especially in scenarios like we have now, with the Court having an overwhelming rightwing bias, and only 3-4 reliably centrist justices. There is a very compelling argument to be made for adding an additional 4-6 justices with a progressive view to offset the current rightwing cabal in the Court.

For those that don’t believe it or scoff when people say the far left has its crazies too, this poster is Exhibit A.
