This is what 56 looks like. She's aging naturally and we're not used to seeing celebrities, influencers, models, etc age like the rest of the population.


I know what 56 looks like, I'm 53. She looks old to me.

I like the idea of wearing what you like as you age, and having fun with it -- but I don't think the purple dress posted above is flattering. It's not a great color for her, the fit is weird across the chest and makes her look more flat chested, and it does have more of a juvenile vibe than a fun-confident vibe. I do think there's some looks that just look odd on an older woman -- things like peter pan collars that look ironically old lady on a 20-something just look old lady on a woman in her 50s. Yeah, I'm 58 and look way younger than her. Dressing like someone in your 20's does NOT make you look younger. It makes you look demented.


I agree. I'm 55 and no gray hair at all yet. Though even my 80 year old mother isn't 100% gray yet.


It’s her grey hair. She would look a lot younger with blonde or brown hair


That was OP point. She is not fighting aging but also embracing high fashion.

I hope that my style gets more eccentric and fun as I age. I spent my 20s, 30s and 40s in high-pressure jobs dressed older than I am.

I would hope that with age, you get to care less what people think and finally have fun with fashion.
