No. Nothing is know about motive just that the alleged shooter was on the football team roster in 2018.

News outlets are reporting one of the names and that it occurred in the Culbreth Garage.

Another one of the victims is apparently a beloved player on the team. Not using the name until confirmed.

My DD has several friends on the football team (all safe) but just heartbroken for them. Just hope he’s found soon and they can start the healing process. It’s been a completely terrifying night for these kids.

Why would people be booing? It's not like they wanted to do badly. That is what I don't get about the audience of any sports. The players get so much abuse from spectators. It hurts the players more when they lose.
