Subject: Will colleges in pro-life states see declining enrolment post Dobbs?
I plan to very strongly discourage both my son and daughter from going to an anti-Roe state for college. DD for obvious reasons; DS since there may always be an oops and I would rather the girl have abortion as an option than not.

Would y’all please actually read some of the thoughtful responses as to why these draconian laws are a concern?

I don't intend or hope for my daughter to have an abortion. It is the principle of it. And it goes way beyond that, too. It's not just abortion. It's LGBTQ rights, what is taught in the school, how they treat immigrants, diversity of student body, etc. In general, the laws in blue states are more aligned with our values. And laws have consequences.
If you really want diversity, you wouldn't consider some of the New England schools.

Parents know their kids best and should send them to schools that offer them the choices they want.
