but will they vote for raskin in the primary ? Can he win without that?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:you think people on Baltimore And pg county eoykd vote for him in the general let alone the primary ?Anonymous wrote:Raskin by a mile.
How is this even a question?
Raskin is one of the best public servants in this nation. He’s also incredibly kind, compassionate, decent, humble and brilliant human being.
In the general, yes. PG county is not voting Republican.

I’m a Dem that voted Hogan twice and this is not true. I would absolutely vote for Hogan again in any election, Senate, President, whatever. Politicians like him are the way forward, to leave the ridiculous divisive rhetoric behind and start working across the aisle to find common ground and get sh!t done.
No way, not with a split Senate. Any D candidate over any R.
It’s this type of mindset that does nothing for swing voters like me. I’m not going to vote D blindly, or for someone like AOC, just because of the balance in the Senate.

Explain? I think he will be supported by Democrats until he decides to retire.
With Van Hollen in the other seat, MD Dems from Baltimore might not be too keen on having two white men from MoCo.
Presuming that Cardin is stepping down, the hypothetical primary race would be Raskin, Calvin Ball and Mfume. Maybe Anthony Brown and Jawando also jump in. The only way Raskin wins the primary is Black voters get split 3-4 ways. However, he might also have to beat someone like O’Malley too, who could also run. I have a hard time seeing how Raskin would have broad appeal outside MoCo. He would basically have the Tom Perez coalition and we all see how well that worked for Perez.
