I don't think it's just a face thing. When, closer to the beginning of the movie, LL and the child walk over to the child's bed to learn the names of the dolls and stuffed animals? That scene was either terribly directed or poorly acted.

I agree with this.

OK I watched it. The plot is AWFUL. I suppose Lohan was eased back into acting with a role she can do very well, because she herself is convincing and natural. I liked the actor playing her father. Understated but good. The male lead is AWFUL. The second male lead acts much better, actually, even in a role that's not flattering.

Not knowing Jack Wagner makes me feel really old -- signed, watched Melrose Place religiously back in the day

Um think about how those of us that know him as Frisco feel! 😳
Ha! Yep, that’s my first reference point for him.

He’s a good singer too:

I enjoyed it and was happy to see LL back on her feet. I also enjoyed Jack Wagner of Melrose + General Hospital fame.

I watched today. Standard Hallmark-type Christmas movie fluff. Not my favorite, but I’ve seen much worse.

Did everyone catch the “Mean Girls” references?

The “ jingle bell rock“ moment in the car?

1990s heartthrob Jack Wagner from Melrose Place plays Lindsay‘s dad.

I absolutely disagree. I thought that Chord Overstreet was the highlight of the movie. He’s sexy, cute, sweet, and a fine actor.
