Troll better, honestly. I like my trolls with enough substance to really chew on.

Don't be a dunce. Montgomery County is not going to restrict abortion, no matter who the County Executive is.

In Montgomery County so far we know

- 53,670 voted for Cox (Republican candidate for governor, January 6 participant)
- 66,415 voted for Glassman (Republican candidate for comptroller, not a January 6 participant)
- 56,756 voted for Petrouka (Republican candidate for Attorney General, has said that he is "still angry" that Maryland did not join the Confederacy in the Civil War.)
- 54,936 voted for Chris Chaffee (Republican candidate for Senate, has a meme of Rush Limbaugh on his Twitter asking people to vote for him)
- 65, 838 voted for Reardon Sullivan for Montgomery County Executive

Congrats to Sully on doing better than seditionists, secessionists and whoever TF Chris Chaffee is.

Sounds like he won votes from the 10,000 moderate Republicans left in MoCo.

Petrouka seemed even more right wing crazy than Cox, how did he get MORE votes??

Two guesses that could also be the same answer. 1. His whacko views were not as widely covered and disseminated. 2. Lots of people know Anthony Brown.

Republicans tend to rant a lot, both on the web and off.

It also shows how DCUM and Twitter are not reality. If you base the MoCo election on DCUM threads or on white yuppie Twitter, you would have thought that Blair would have trounced Elrich in the primary, not amount to a statistical tie. And then you would have thought that Elrich would have lost to Sullivan or come very close.

Most normal people in the county do not have a problem with Elrich. He actually has huge support in the Salvadoran and Ethiopian communities, most of whom are not ranting on social media or message boards.

Also during my walk, I saw a few of those signs on lawns that used to have Trump for president signs. Again Republican lawns. I am glad that even though he used those unethical tactics (a huge lie) he lost "bigly".

There were tons of Republican signs - not on lawns, on illegal places like public ROWs and highway exits - and in places where Republicans had -1000% chance of winning. Like Silver Spring and Wheaton. I even saw some Republican congressional and Dan Cox signs in GREENBELT. (Think the Takoma Park of PG). Glad they spent so much money on plastic and cardboard ... just more junk to pollute the environment with.

Can anyone tell me affirmative things about him, other than that he isn’t elrich? So far I’ve heard he has the fop 35 endorsement and condemned 1/6. What else?
IME, it’s the Clouncil that’s the real problem, including folks like Jawanda. The CE seems rather limited in what he can do if the council won’t support him. For instance, he could propose an increase to police funding but if the council won’t approve it, it doesn’t happen. I’m one who thinks the police need massive raises and a totally overhauled approach to training and recruiting (which again will require more money) — but that can’t happen unless the council supports it.

Most voters will sell their rights for cheaper gas and lower taxes.

Oh, c’mon. This is a local office. I’m voting all Dems except strongly considering Sully. I think it would be good to have a successful Black business a
man running the County, and he has the support of the police. Public safety is one of his main issues.

22 calls dispatched for shootings in October so far. The calls were closed as shootings too. That doesn't mean that someone got shot each time, but it does mean someone's firing weapons out and about. Someone was actually shot in Germantown Saturday.

Talk about a cult! The Democrats in Montgomery County are the most ‘cultish’ with their censorship and anti-science stance during Covid.
