Umm did I drink too much and post this without remembering? I love your Japanese curry idea, but DH has always found it off-puttingly sweet so I don’t make it much.
Additional future plans are a baked 3-cheese penne dish, crockpot pork shoulder cooked in homemade tomato sauce, and braised Chinese Chee Hou beef with rice and bok choy.
PP you replied to. Ha! Yes, the restaurant kind can be sweet. Perhaps I don't put in as many squares of paste? Also I usually mix medium and hot paste (I would do just the hot, but DD doesn't like it that spicy). Your other dishes sound delicious!
