LOL.
A WaPo article said Meghan was dressed in a plain dress to hide her shape so as to say, "this isn't about me."
Another person said people would say, "Meghan looks horrible wearing her black long dress" and "Kate looks wonderful wearing her long black dress."
No wonder Meghan had to get out with people like you around!
It wasn’t plain. It was a very stylish designer dress. She has worn cape dresses before, so she probably likes this style.

Jill is pure class.
Define class!

If she isn't pregnant then she could really use a foundation garment. No shade, I need one too when I wear clingy things like that.
This happened to me a lot after my kids were born. I was the same size but everything shifted around and dresses fit but didn’t fall the same way. That or she’s pregnant.

She did look beautiful and regal but dress was nothing special.
That was probably on purpose, you know to keep the attention away from her.
Uh, she's been wearing a lot of enormous jewelry this week for someone who doesn't want the attention on her. I think she's doing some queen-in-waiting drag. Not a criticism -- that's what she is and she and William will likely have very large roles under Charles reign because of his age and the fact that Kate is much better liked by the public than Camilla (though people have softened towards her a bit... but they still prefer Kate).
I didn't get the sense Kate was trying to keep attention off herself at all. I sense that she was fully aware of the attention on her, her husband, and her children and that she was very careful to deliver the right messages.
MM, meanwhile, did seem to be trying to fade into the background. And for good reason -- the press and commentary about her is critical no matter what, so I sense her goal was to be as unassuming as possible and let others have the spotlight. She is at a point with the British press (and many people) where she can do no right.
