Have you never heard of a dowager cottage?
Charles and Camilla have already said they are staying at Clarence House where they already live, not moving to BP. So when Charles dies (if he goes first), Camilla will just continue to live in Clarence House until she dies, because Will and Kate don't want to live there anyway.
. Full situation?Anonymous wrote:Camilla and Charles have been together on and off since 1970. They dated briefly before he left for the Navy in 1971, and apparently Charles was smitten with her, but when he returned in 1973 she had gotten engaged to someone else. Charles was heartbroken and tried to stop her from marrying Parker Bowles. His family also didn't fully approve of their relationship even then as she didn't meet the requirements at the time for a future Queen.
Parker Bowles cheated on Camilla not long after they were married. Rumor has it he had multiple dalliances and in 1978 Camilla began the affair with Charles (still single at the time) but given she was married and had a child and with no hope of ever being able to be with Charles, they kept it an affair. Her husband was aware and given his own activities, apparently wasn't particularly perturbed.
Charles met Diana in 1980 after courting her sister and she was put forward as an acceptable future Queen, virginal and from an aristocratic family and checking all the right boxes. Charles continued to see Camilla at least in friendship and she attended his wedding to Diana. They resumed their affair relatiosnhip in 1986 and Diana knew from the start and confronted them. Given Diana and Charles were not particularly in love, she told Camilla, I know I am in the way and this is hell for you both but back off, 3 in a marriage is too many. However Diana then began her own affair with James Hewitt the same year and for the next five years Diana and James were in love and Charles and Camilla continued their own love story. Then they divorced, news of the Charles and Camilla affair went public and there were a few rough years before Charles and Camilla began showing up in the same places around 1995 and despite disapproval from the Queen who felt Diana and Charles might have been able to really give their marriage a go if Camilla has not been around - Charles introduced Camilla to his sons in 1998 and they went public again as a couple about 1999. In 2000, the Queen first acknowledged them as a couple and Camilla began attending engagements with Charles.
They moved in together in 2003, aand got engaged and married in 2005.
Camilla has talked about the vitriol and hatred she received for the affair but says she always had the support of her family who knew the full situation. These two have been in love for 52 plus years and despite it all, they are now King and Queen. I am glad she has finally gotten acceptance and recognition after all the years of hate.

Brit reading this and I agree! Extremely weird!
What makes you think all of the posters in this thread are Americans? There are at least two of you posting here who apparently aren't...

He can kick her out completely unless Charles leaves her one of his properties.
You’re talking about William? He’s not going to do that. They’re quite close now.
That’s no kind of security. He used to be quite close to Carole Middleton too but now finds her annoying and hasn’t been pictured with her in eons.

On other side, Charles would've been nobody if not born into privilege and he cheated on his wife and didn't have a backbone to say no to marry her.
Diana was a Spencer.
Kate Middleton's mom comes from a family of coal miners.
There are lots of people with titles in UK but no one cares about them. Kate was William's college sweetheart, not an arranged marriage with someone 12 year younger he had nothing in common with.
