Early mornings with a kiddo sure can be rough though. Mine are older now and I'm impressed that you are losing weight with a little guy around -- kudos to you. RESPECT.

The scale is down a pound or so and I haven’t seen a weight this low in a while so I think it’s real! My weight fluctuates SO much based on my cycle it’s always hard to be sure after a week. I’m jealous of you guys who are steadily losing a point more a week- I need to up my game but I’m going to be happy as long as things are going in the right direction!
*ugh a pound or more a week!
Oh man this was me yesterday and today was not so good. I was SO tired from bad sleep and a kid getting me up very early. Ate a bunch of sugar instead of anything healthy when I was starving this morning. So frustrated with myself but determined to go right back to doing better tomorrow. At least I exercised today! Fingers crossed for a much better night of sleep…
Just get back on that horse, you can do it! This stuff happens and you just have to get through it and get back on track like you've been doing before. Hang in there and good luck!

I have indulged in some treats on a few special occasions but have otherwise managed to keep added sugar out of my diet. When I inadvertently eat something that has it, I instantly crave more sugar and more carbs and am so hungry for the rest of the day, so that is good motivation to stay on track. Ive also done well exercising almost every day.
I’m not beating myself up that my progress hasn’t been perfect. PPs shouldn’t either! We are doing great and it’s a process.

You can do it!
I started with almost your same stats, age, height, weight + 2 more lbs, and 1-2 lbs a week is exactly what you should be aiming for for consistent, sustainable weight loss. I just posted my check in above and I’m down 35 lbs in just over 4 months. Just keep at it and the pounds will add up.
