You are on the internet complaining about Health class.
LOL
That class is fine. It's you all that are the problem your poor kids.
It's a ridiculously easy A they learn some shit. Big Whoop.
Health has been taught the same in schools for basically the last 30 years.
As for the pronoun thing your kids are lucky they get that in school. Because many parents are just well you know..... idiots....If you don't like this part remove your kid from public school go to some small religious private see how far that gets them in life. LOL>
HaHa - someone is really lonely and needs attention. This comment doesn't contribute anything. You aren't familiar with the specific issues anyway. (Although I'm happy to see you aren't on board with the homophobic pronoun critic on here)
My child took the class. He's a serious student and athlete who has very little free time. I wanted him to take this so he had room in his schedule. OP and other parents have every right to say the class was not well taught or a good use of time.
My son's teacher wasn't a Health teacher either and seemed really slow and confused. I'm happy they learned about a variety of topics but I agree that CPR should be more than 5 minutes for example.
Are you the type who thinks that poor teaching is just something kids should accept? I feel sorry for your kids. Parents have every right to be frustrated when MCPS isn't doing their best (or even doing well). I'm pretty happy with MCPS but this class was poorly done.
