I just watched the second episode. Better than the first even if it was a little slow. It really set out some major history and statecraft stuff, which I like.
Rhaenyra is a great character. I'm still not crazy about the actress, but at least she's given interesting storylines.
The King can't get out of his own way. I won't spoil what happens, but even though his decision pissed people off, the alternative was BLECH, so...
I will watch this as a miniseries/limited series, but I am not sure I would do multiple seasons of it. It's spurred me to re-watch Game of Thrones and you realize what an amazing series that was for so long, and then *poof.* Can't over-invest.
